A mob mix-up in Chicago sends two chanteuses screaming for L.A., where they score a perfect gig: posing as drag queens on the dinner theater/cabaret circuit. When the movie came out, people would tell me I was so lucky to have gotten such a part with my looks. But because I grew up with such confidence, none of that registered with me.Nia, even though it was her directorial debut, was capable of messing up a film so badly. Don't waste your money and time with this movie, because it doesn't worth it.The story will follow the lovably loud and proud Portokalos family years after Fotoula 'Toula' Portokalos, played by Nia, and her non-Greek beau Ian Miller, portrayed by John, got married in a huge wedding.
Forty-seven year old Nia Vardalos and forty=eight year old John Corbett seem to be fifteen year old sweethearts facing the problems of the first love with the most stupid and immature attitudes that the viewer could expect from forty and something year old adults.
Corbett and Derek, 54 and 59 respectively, have been an item for 14 years.
The edition includes a DVD version and a Digital Copy of the movie and features deleted scenes as well as a 30-minute retrospective with Vardalos and co-star John Corbett.
Vardalos and Corbett don’t look like they’ve aged a day since the first film.
Self-deprecating and warm, Vardalos is slender and petite and looked great in a short, greenish cocktail dress.
